Have a song that is about the various intersections of rape culture including colonialism, racism, sexism, transphobia, homophobia, immigration, classism? Have a song that seeks to uplift and empower womxn or non-binary folks? We want you to be a part of our project!
The compilation will benefit the Sexual & Gender Minority Youth Center (SMYRC) in Portland, OR AND an organization/activists working to bring attention to the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Womxn in North America (Canada, US, and Mexico). #MMIW

Life Update
Holy guacamole it’s been a long time since I’ve been on this site. Life is really fucking rad. I’ve lived in Portland for 7 months now. It was really hard in the beginning. It is still difficult now but my heart is full. I’ve made incredible friends and am a part of this organization called No! to Rape Culture. My best friend came to visit me from Aus a few weeks ago. I miss him so much. He’s so loving and caring it fucks me up. I’m currently trying to get a job with the State. I miss being home. I haven’t been back since I’ve been here. I’m trying to get more financially secure. It’s gonna take some time until I’m good and I’m not going to give up. I want to be in a space where I can travel to Sydney. I’m thinking about applying for a work visa if things go well during the visit. Things are doing better. My depression is still shit and I’ve been battling thoughts of suicide a bit. I know things will get better & I’m trying to treat myself like I deserve existing.

19-year-old Native American teen Devontre Thomas could go to prison for a year for one gram of marijuana.
In the fall, recent high school grad Devontre Thomas could be heading off to college — or he could be going to prison.
According to Thomas’ lawyer, the 19-year-old could face up to a year in prison and a $1,000 fine for allegedly carrying a gram of weed.
According to the Washington Post, Thomas’ case marks the first time federal authorities have prosecuted someone for marijuana possession in Oregon, where recreational marijuana is legal, in five years.
The fact that he’s Native American — and where he was caught are likely how his case ended up in federal courts.
